Bold and opulent, the nose is driven by fresh tea leaves, forest notes and savory berries. Silky smooth on the palate and very well balanced. The finish is well layered and long unveiling smoked barrel notes, grilled stone fruits and toasted caramel. The peat charred casks that this expression was finished in have imparted an earthy smokiness rarely seen in classic Irish Whiskey. An amazing dram for sure!
