Crafted from carefully tended, hand-picked vineyards planted to 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.This 2012 La Gabare de Croizet-Bages shows beautiful purple-hued, red color, with a delicate bouquet of dark fruit & flowers. The entry is round & supple, with fresh fruit and soft, mature tannins on the palate; this is a very ‘feminine’ Paulliac. Under the lovely fruit, classic Pauillac hints of forest floor notes, terroir, lovely texture and classic, mature, balance… True-Pauillac character. Magnificent old-world style, yet still holding beautiful, ripe fruit character. At ten+ years of age, this is drinking beautifully now and should continue to be enjoyed through 2028.
