Our Bourgogne Aligoté is typical of the appellation. Aligoté is a typical Burgundian grape variety, relatively rare now, but which is in the original Kir recipe, developed by the canon of the same name: one third crème de cassis and two thirds Aligoté. It is a tense wine with its acidity that gives it its backbone, and beautiful aromas that awaken our taste buds.

The 2022 Bourgogne Alligote has a simple but attractive nose. It shows less grapefruit than I observed in Burgundy, with a little more of the peach skin. The palate still reminds me of one of Eben Sadie's wines, attractive in texture with a tad linger on the finish. Have an extra point.
